Droid 2 Announced - Available on August 12 2010

Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of the Motorola Droid 2 on August 12, 2010. It will be on pre-sale on August 11 and will be available in stores on August 12. The Motorola Droid runs on Android 2.2 and supports the various applications including Adobe Flash Player 10.1. One of the cool feature of this phone is that it can run as a wireless hot spot for up to 5 devices, though this feature can only be use when you enroll with Verizon Hotspot Service at $20 per month. LG Electronics has announced its first Android powered smartphone with the introduction of the LG-GW620. The LG-GW620 is an Android powered mobile phone that features a slide out full QWERTY keypad and a 3 inch touchscreen. Nokia 6760 Slide Unveiled

This new Nokia phone looks like the Nokia Surge that was unveiled recently. But as Nokia has stated, it has similarities with the Surge and also some added goodies. The Nokia 6760 comes with a sliding full QWERTY keyboard,2.4-inch QVGA display and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Memory storage uses a microSD that can support up to 8GB of memory. It also comes with a GPS. Talk time last about five hours while on standby it can last up to 500 hours. The Nokia 6760 Slide will be available this coming third quarter of 2009 and is price at about 282.386 USD. Nokia has announced that the 6120 classic will be available starting in the third quarter of 2009. The Nokia 6120 classic is the first phone with SIM based NFC enabled device to be marketed by Nokia.
