Nokia has announced what it dub as the cheapest 3G phone to date. The new Nokia 2730 classic is a 3G phone with all the features of a full featured Nokia phone. Features includes a 2-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Stereo FM radio for your listening pleasure. Cheap doesn't mean less feature, as this phone like its pricier 3G cousins also features Nokia Life Tools and OVI mail. Its phone book can store a thousand names and its battery life can last up to 17 days on standby and 3.3 hours talk-time (WCDMA). This phone can be yours for only about 80 euro and will be available this third quarter. Nokia has announced the new Nokia E52, with its longer talk time, it will take about 8 hours before having to recharge its battery It include features such as A-GPS, high-speed HSDPA and HSUPA connections, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. A built-in Mobile VPN allows interconnection with company intranets and couple with a Call Connect support it enable businesses to integrate the device on local corporate phone system. It also comes with support for Nokia Messaging, Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveller. Memory storage is with a 1 GB microSD. This will be available on second half of 2009.
