New In Gmail : Send mail from Another Address

Gmail has added another feature, this time you can now send emails from another domain without "behalf of'. Before this feature, sending email from another domain using the custom "From" option will include the sender's username lke this - username@gmail.com On Behalf Of customaddress@mydomain.com. With this feature the 'behalf of' part will now be remove. The difference between the old and the new feature is illustrated below. New Old You can enable this by going to Accounts page under Settings, and click "edit info" from the "Send mail as" section. Then select "Use your other email provider's SMTP servers." Gmail has added a new features which makes it easier for email users to unsubscribe to mailing list. You can easily unsubscribe to a mailing list by clicking the existing report spam button. This new Nokia phone looks like the Nokia Surge that was unveiled recently. But as Nokia has stated, it has similarities with the Surge and also some added goodies. The Nokia 6760 comes with a sliding full QWERTY keyboard,2.4-inch QVGA display and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Memory storage uses a microSD that can support up to 8GB of memory. It also comes with a GPS. Talk time last about five hours while on standby it can last up to 500 hours. The FinePix REAL 3D W1 digital camera takes photos in 3D. It utilizes two 10 megapixels CCD and two lenses to achieve a 3D image effect on the resulting photos. New in Gmail Labs: The Super-trustworthy, Anti-phishing Key

If you are an ebay or Paypal member, you may not have to worry about receiving phishing emails again if you are using Gmail. Gmail has added a new feature on its Gmail labs. The new feature is called the supertrustworthy anti-phishing key. So what does it do? It just simply authenticates every senders email using DKIM authentication. In this case mail from ebay and Paypal are authenticated and all other emails purporting to be from them will be rejected. To use this feature just go to settings>Labs and then enable the authentication feature. Once this is enabled, an icon will be displayed next to the authenticated email from trusted sources. As of now, only email from ebay and Paypal are included in this feature. Introducing the Google Chrome OS

Google has just announced the introduction of the Google Chrome Operating System. Google Chrome is a light weight open source project that is initially targeted for netbooks. The source code will be open to the public later this year and netbooks running the said OS will be available by 2010. Gmail has just improved its label feature with the introduction of label drop and drag. With this improvement the location of the labels is now on the left side of the inbox. of the Gmail window. The most frequently use label will be automatically shown but you can set which label to show by pressing [more] and then dragging the labels. Messages from the inbox can also be drag to the labels.
