New Nikon DX Format Camera Announced




Two new cameras was recently introduced by Nikon. The Nikon D300s and the Nikon D3000 are the latest DX format cameras from Nikon.

Nikon D300s
The Nikon D300s is the latest DX format digital camera to be released by Nikon. This came in the heels of the recently introduced D5000 which is also a DX format camera. The Nikon D300s 12.3 megapixel camera that boasts of the following innovative features that may set it apart from other DSLR cameras. Users can enjoy a continous fast speed shooting at 7 frames per second, a 51 point AF (Auto Focus) system and 100% viewfinder coverage. Other features include D Movie function for recording movie clips, an external microphone input for recording high fidelity audio and an in camera editing feature which lets you edit clips right within the camera itself. A Dual card slot is also provided where you use either a CF or an SD card.

Nikon D3000

The D3000 is another DX format digital camera announced by Nikon. This digital camera is mainly targeted for hobbyist and those people who have graduated from their point and shoot cameras. As this is targeted to non pro photographers, it includes an in-camera assistance called the Guide Mode which assist first time DSLR users on the best shooting modes to choose. Some other features include Scene Recognition System, Active D-Lighting, continuous shooting up to 3 frames-per-second, advanced 3D Color Matrix Metering II, and 11-point selectable autofocus. The D3000 has a 10.2 effective megapixel.
