New Nikon D5000 Announced

Nikon has announced the newest addition to its DX-format digital camera. The NIKON D5000 is an geared toward both entry-level digital SLR users and those wanting to upgrade thei existing expertise in photography. Main features includes the versatile Vari-angle LCD monitor that can be viewed in normal position flush against the camera back, or swung out and rotated and/or tilted. THe D5000 has a 12.3 effective megapixel CMOS sensor.





Other features includes;

  • fast as 4 frames per second

  • Color Matrix Metering II

  • 11-point selectable autofocus

  • four Live View AF modes

  • automatic exposure and white balance bracketing functions

  • Quiet Shooting mode
