Western Digital, one of the leading manufacturer of hard disk drive, recently announced the new 640 GB capacity Scorpio Blue. The Scorpio Blue is the first hard drive in the 2.5 inch, 9.5 mm, 2-disk form factor that is available today. The hard drive utilizes a 320 GB-per-platter technology and is designed primarily for netbook computers. It is available with an EIDE and SATA interfaces. It is currently available and with an MSRP of $149.00 USD.
