Toshiba has announced the world's first 64GB SDXC Memory Card with a transfer read speed of 60MBS and a write speed of 35MB/s. The 64 GB SDXC from Toshiba is the first SD card of this size and speed that is compliant with the SD Memory Card Standard Ver. 3.00, UHS104. The SDXC (extended Capacity) is the next generation SD card that has a specified transfer rate of 50 MB/s to 104MB/s and a capacity of up to 2 TB (2048 GB).
