Garmin Dakota Handheld GPS




The latest GPS system from Garmin look likes a kid's electronic toy but it is sure packs feature every outdoors man will love. The latest personal navigation system from Garmin are the Dakota 10 and Dakota 20 GPS . The two Garmin GPS handheld uses a highly sensitive GPS receiver with HotFixTM, that can penetrate even in deep tree covers and deep canyons. It has an 850MB internal memory that users can use to store various information such as 1,000 way points, 50 routes, 2,000 geocaches and an active tracklog of up to 10,000 points and 200 saved tracks. A color 2.6-inch touchscreen enables easy viewing of routes even in adverse low light condition. It weighs only 6.75 ounces and runs on two AA batteries which can lasts up to 20 hours.
