Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of the Motorola Droid 2 on August 12, 2010. It will be on pre-sale on August 11 and will be available in stores on August 12. The Motorola Droid runs on Android 2.2 and supports the various applications including Adobe Flash Player 10.1. One of the cool feature of this phone is that it can run as a wireless hot spot for up to 5 devices, though this feature can only be use when you enroll with Verizon Hotspot Service at $20 per month.
