AMD has announced the availability of the ATI Radeon 4890, a factory overclocked graphics processor that has surpassed the 1 GHZ speed barrier. The new ATI Radeon™ HD 4890 utilizes advanced GDDR5 memory coupled with its overclocked 1 GHZ processor to deliver 1.6 TeraFLOPs of computing power.
