It's the world's first laptop which contains completely free software. The YeeLoong8089 Notebook is powered by an 800MHz Loongson 2F processor. All of its software and even the firmware are completely free as claimed by its manufacturer. This notebook runs on Debian GNU/Linux and is also available with Mandriva, Sunwah, Slackware and Gentoo Linux. Storage is taken care of by a 160GB 2.5' HDD. It has a 8.9” TFT LCD with a resolution of 1024x600 as the monitor.
