Watch Out RFID Big Brother is Watching!

Queralt, a company based in Connecticut USA is developing an RFID tag software that can monitor a persons behaviour based on the input data from an RFID tag. The RFID tag can be worn by a target person or an asset and data such as temperaturewill be taken from the RFID device will be fed into a database engine. As data are processed, baselines and behavioral patterns are created. Rules and metrics are created based on the baseline and if data from the sensors or RFID tags disagrees with the programmed rules and metrics, an alert will be raised.

The development of the software is being funded by a grant from the US DHS.
