NFC Enabled Nokia 6120 Classic

With just a tap on a contactless device you can now make secure payment with the new Nokia 6120 classic. Nokia has announced that the 6120 classic will be available starting in the third quarter of 2009. The Nokia 6120 classic is the first phone with SIM based NFC enabled device to be marketed by Nokia. Consumers can also conveniently share contents such as images, audio and contact information by just simply tapping the device. With the SIM based NFC, carriers can add features directly on the SIM card such as secure payment and ticketing transactions.

How secure are NFC transaction is anybody's guess. Only time will tell.
